WEST VALLEY ART MUSEUM OPENS
SPECIAL FALL EXHIBIT: GLASS
A RARE PRIVATE COLLECTION, SPARKLING
WATERCOLORS AND UNIQUE OIL PAINTINGS
Reception open to public on Thursday, September 29, 4 to 6 pm
Visit the WVAM Art Gallery in Peoria City Hall to be surrounded by amethyst and purple Glass decorative and glittering objects in a varied display along-side vibrant, colorful abstract watercolor and colored pencil interpretations of Glass. Also, a series of themed oil paintings add to your artistic experience.
This special GLASS exhibit is currently on view, free to the public, through October 27 in the WVAM Art Gallery on the first floor of Peoria City Hall at 8401 West Monroe Street in Old Town Peoria. Open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10 to 4 pm and Thursday noon to 6 pm, this exhibition is a colorful autumn feast to delight your senses.
On Thursday, September 29, from 4 to 6 pm there will be a Reception to meet Clifford Alfrey, owner of this extensive Glass collection as well as Cynthia Peterson and Mary Bruns. Enjoy light refreshments during this lively and fun opportunity to interact with artists and an art collector. Free, no reservations required.
